Hi everyone, and thank you once again for supporting Midnight Monitor.

It has been incredibly humbling to see people play the game, offer their feedback on it and post videos about the game to YouTube! It couldn't make this single person dev any prouder to see something that they've made out there in the world 🥲.

I have continued to work on small updates for the game to add some quality of life changes, as well as to fix a few audio related bugs. Please see a summary of the changes below:

0.9.6 -> 0.9.66:

• Sofa in living room could not be reported, this has been fixed
• Changed certain Steam-Specific requirements
• Added a loading screen and loading percentage when clicking on the Modern House level
• Added FPS Limiter to graphics menu
• Disabled planar reflections until buggy mirrors can be fixed
• Fixed hourly chime not playing
• Fixes and additions to backend code to handle Demo version capability
• Split out Itch.io and Steam versions of Midnight Monitor to support Patreon links
• Added Steam wishlist prompts and demo-specific signage for the demo versions (these do NOT appear in the full versions!)

In addition to this latest update, Midnight Monitor now has a dedicated demo version of the game! The demo version is feature complete, but only has 40 anomalous objects: 

These objects should still cover a broad spectrum of anomaly types, so don't worry! It will definitely whet your appetite for the full version of the game 😎 If you give it a try, drop a comment on the game store page with a screenshot or video of your game.

The demo also includes these specific changes to facilitate a good player experience:

• Added demo-specific save data
• Changed demo game length from 20-30 minutes to 20 minutes

In even more amazing news, Midnight Monitor has been GREENLIT for release on Steam!

Don't worry, this won't change anything with Itch.io. The Itch.io version will continue to receive updates directly alongside the Steam version!
